The TCF IRN (Integration, Residence, Nationality) in Annecy with ifalpes
Our French school IFALPES in Annecy is one of the official French examination centres for the TCF IRN We organise sessions every month.
The TCF candidates we welcome need to validate their level of French with the TCF IRN (study project in a French-speaking establishment, job search…) or official with the TCF IRN (procedures for obtaining French nationality, or residency permit…)
Valid for official procedures, the TCF IRN was set up in January 2022 by the FEI (France Education International). It overlaps with the old TCF ANF (for naturalisation) and TCF CRF (for the residency card (10 years).
INFORMATION ABOUT THIS FRENCH EXAM in Annecy
No diploma or preparation is required to register for the TCF IRN.
If necessary, and to justify your steps, the IFALPES Annecy school can provide you with:
• a certificate of registration, once payment has been confirmed, and/or
• a certificate of attendance, on request, after the examination.
The exam topics are provided by the France Education International exam management centre. Corrections and certificates of results are managed by FEI. It is therefore necessary to wait between 3 and 4 weeks after the award to receive the results.
On the certificates of results of the TCF Integration, Residence and Nationality, the photo of the candidate taken on the day of the exam appears. The examination centre will therefore take a photo of each candidate during the tests. These will be deleted as soon as the results are delivered.
You will receive a certificate, valid for your official procedures in France. As a reminder, level A2 (CERCL) is required for the residency permit in France (10 years) and level B1 (CERCL) for French nationality.
The certificates are valid for your procedures for 2 years. The TCF IRN certificate must be added to your file with the correct authorities (prefecture) for official procedures.
If you do not obtain the expected result, you will have to wait at least 30 days before you can take the exam again.
