Corinne CIREY

Corinne is a mountain lover. Born in Savoie, she wouldn’t even consider living anywhere else! She knows how to communicate this love for her region and her culture, a region she knows by heart and from which she has fully benefited since childhood.
Passionate about a profession she has practiced at IFALPES for more than 20 years, Corinne is unbeatable on all the subtleties of French.

Corinne is always very attentive to her students. They all appreciate her kindness, her availability and her commitment to a profession that she constantly reinvents.

Emmanuel DEBROAS

Emmanuel is in charge of teaching and has been working at IFALPES for 5 years.
He is passionate about travel and painting. After a long career abroad, mainly in Morocco and the Caribbean, Emmanuel decided to settle in Annecy with his family.

Emmanuel will organize your placement test and will be your attentive contact throughout your stay for everything concerning your level, the content of the courses and your progress in French.

Emilie ARRIVE

Emilie has been a teacher at IFALPES since 2013. With her university degree in her pocket, she opened the door of IFALPES and stayed there.

Passionate about nature, travel… and cheese, Emilie is a pure “Savoyard” product tempered by her Reunionese origins.
Whether you have her as a teacher or not, you won’t miss her contagious laugh that fills the school.

Emilie puts her good humour and dynamism at the service of her profession so that her classes are as lively and joyful as possible.

Lucien ALLEMAND

Lucien has been working at IFALPES as student reception officer for 3 years.

Passionate about travel and concerts, he is always ready to chat with students over a drink, at IFALPES or elsewhere
During your stay, you will be in contact with Lucien on a daily basis. He will welcome you on the first day and will facilitate all your procedures (transport, payment, activities…).

Lucien will put all his patience and kindness at your disposal, to advise you and offer you the best possible welcome.

Pascaline MERMOUX

Pascaline has been a professor at IFALPES for 10 years. She is passionate about fashion, cooking and gymnastics.

She knows everything that is happening in the region and will always be ready to advise you on weekend outings to make the most of your stay.

Pascaline loves working with students who are new to French and is very patient and rigorous in explaining and re-explaining grammar or vocabulary. Her students appreciate her qualities of kindness, listening and understanding.

Stéphanie DULAC

Stéphanie has been working at IFALPES as sales manager for 6 years. A British national, you will recognize her by her “so British” accent, which she has kept even if she has lived in Annecy for more than 25 years.

Stéphanie is passionate about cooking, hiking and music.

She manages agency relations on a daily basis. So if you come through an agency you will meet her very quickly. Always attentive to your needs, she will be your privileged interlocutor and will take the greatest care of you to ensure that your stay takes place in the best conditions.

Marie

Marie-Caroline

Marie is responsible for the accommodation and exams.

She is from Haute-Savoie, studied in Chambéry and got her Master degree in French as a foreign language in Grenoble. She lived in London, Toronto and Johannesburg before going back to her native region and moving to Annecy.

She likes skiing, hiking and loves travelling to discover new countries and cultures.

She is known as a good listener and will do her best for you to have a great trip in Annecy.
